They are best suited for children ages 3-6, but can be adapted for older children who might also enjoy them. The Guides for Books 1-3 are free!

Although they are designed to be used with a Story Jar, all the videos, crafts, games and sensory activities may be used without a jar. Any type of plastic, ceramic or clay jar large enough to hold the suggested contents may be used as a Story Jar.

All Story & Activity Guides include:

• A Read Aloud Video of the book. (Each book is also available in paperback on Amazon)
• A printable teaching guide for grown-ups, including a list of sensory items to add to your story jar to engage children when introducing the story.  
• Craft Instructions/templates
• Instructions for simple games and sensory activities 
• Printable story characters and pieces to print on cardstock to place in the story jar if using, or for imaginative play and re-telling the story.  Pieces may be laminated if desired. Magnet strips or felt may be attached to the back for use with a white board, refrigerator surface or felt board.  Characters may also be attached to craft sticks to make simple puppets.
• A short meditation, song or prayer that children can use to calm and center themselves and remind themselves that they are living in the presence of God.
